Want Home Like a Hotel? It's a Hotel Style House for Bachelors
Inspired by the poet Rupi Kaur, I'm not in a hotel room. I am at home. Kfir Galatia Azulay, making an apartment that looks like a hotel room in Tel Aviv. He strikes a balance between public and private, transparent and hidden, light or shaded. This apartment is located in Florentine in a modernist residential building. Makes us feel our vacation never ends.
The original layout had minimal natural light, but Galatians overhauled it from scratch by removing all the walls. So you can get some bright and open rooms. The apartment storage is in the form of a specially shaped floor-to-ceiling cupboard and there is a small entrance leading to the hallway. This storage has two sides, so it can be used as storage according to which side the storage is opened. The kitchen is open.
What's interesting here, the bathroom is built in the middle of the apartment with two corrugated glass panels so you can see both directions. The bedroom is made with sliding doors so that it looks bigger and looks spacious and open. The bedroom, while quite compact, benefits from sliding glass doors to make it feel bigger and more open. The colors chosen by Galatia are gray, gold, brown combined with natural ornaments on shelves or on tables in the form of living objects that are green or have been preserved. Well packaged in a white tiled floor and white ceiling. Below we also include the design of the sketch image.
