Skakafjördur fjord, less than 100 km from the Arctic Circle offers stunning views all year round with temperatures always cool. This house was built for the odd weather in this area using thin concrete walls with cedar walls. This house is shaped like a teaching container from the outside. The interesting thing is that it keeps growing grass on the roof of this house, making it look like the house is coming out of the ground.

The inner walls are left with thin concrete that remains open without being painted with black stone floors making us who enter it feels like we are in the countryside with a calm environment. Meanwhile, lighting with large windows in almost all rooms gets direct natural light. With these windows we can also enjoy views of the vast meadows and views of the green mountains.
