This bland and unconspicuous residential block has been transformed into a contemporary residence with minimalist sophistication and sculptural rigor, a 1960s residence renovated by Archisbang Architectural practice.
The first thing to do was skin the three-story building to the cubic volume of its constituents. Energy-efficient insulation and structural reinforcement now emphasizes the masses of a cube-like structure by thickening the walls of the building, while the application of coarse lime mortar and the application of large rectangular openings have impressed its exterior with sculptural reinforcement.

For future development, this building is made into 3 apartments or it can also be combined into one unit. To allow for a separate entrance, the team added a separate exterior staircase of light metal, whose graphic and geometric simplicity does not detract from the purity of the cubic volume. floor and the two smaller apartments on the first floor are separated by wooden panels rotating 180 degrees.

Doors, window frames and other wooden furniture add softness and warmth to a monochromatic, calm and plain interior, while the expansive views of the surrounding forest add color. Coarse plaster layers and exposed plank-shaped concrete surfaces, sculptural minimalism on the exterior of the building continues inwards with polished concrete floors, communal staircases now gently lit with the addition of large skylights, the latter being featured in the master bedroom. This house has an attic that functions as an additional yard. Where a mini swimming pool is located and placed solar panels that catch the rays. This house also has lighting with many large windows, so that sunlight can freely enter the house.
