Riverside House in Contemporary Design with Two Contrasting Volumes
Own land by the river? We have a collection of photos to inspire you. The more modern, the more people adjust to the appearance in the home area, thus further strengthening the appearance from the outside and from inside the house. The house, designed and built by Pracownia Projectowa architectural office Jakub Sucharski, has 700 square meters of living space on several floors. The house sits above a river valley and a canopy of trees, so from the spacious terrace you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape.
The house, located in Torun, Poland, has two parts. the first is where the living room, kitchen, bedroom and several other spaces are located. The second contains a garage, laundry room and a series of service and technical areas adjacent to the road, with a black exterior and gable roof and the other is a much more open structure with large glass walls, terraces and a flat roof.
The part of the roadside house that is close to the main road and has a minimalist exterior in black and open so you can enjoy the outside view. The living areas are very open and spacious and they transition smoothly to the outdoors, past the large open windows providing complimentary river views. Transparent glass railings frame the outdoor space and ensure an unobstructed view of the river.
In the house there is a tree that is placed with ethnic hanging decorations. With wall and glass dividers, it supports the theme of a riverside house that carries the theme of nature and green. The choice of colors for black walls and white ceilings is a neutral color that blends nicely with the wooden tile floor. Coupled with pots filled with grass along the balcony and on the edges of the house, adding to the natural impression that radiates even more.
